Coinbase and Apple are still not getting along months after Coinbase cautioned clients it may expel an application from the Apple Store.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong tweeted on August 22 that Apple keeps on staying a few functionalities for cryptocurrencies, including acquiring cash and open, decentralized applications (dApp) programs. He stated:

“Apple has been extremely prohibitive and hostile to cryptocurrency throughout the years. Despite everything blocking some usefulness at present, including the capacity to acquire cash with cryptocurrency by completing assignments, and unlimited dapp programs.”

In December, Coinbase cautioned its clients it might need to expel its dApp program from its application to meet Apple’s App Store strategies. At that point, both Apple and Google’s Android application store Google Play needed to expel dApps in its system.

Apple, especially its App Store, has been enduring an onslaught of late for unreasonable terms it provides for application designers and distributors. The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and games engineer Epic Games have gotten out Apple searching for more pleasant terms for designers.
